Small black lines in my nails? i am a nail biter?!

I'm sorry but i have never heard or seen them before....but i have looked it up and it says in my medicalbook thats 'splinter' like marks signifies bleeding into the nail bed (endocarditis)...but doesn't offer any solutions, sorry....maybe a trip to the doc's...there may be something for it.

EDIT***could be a form of anemia
ick ewwwww!! they are probably infected call a skin specialist or your doc and they will prob put you on meds.
