I have mirena but....?!
Question: ok I got the mirena almost 8 months ago, and my periods stopped all together, and I get that they are "supposed" to stop, but I'm petrified I might be pregnant again. How can I make my period start? or is it even possible for me to be pregnant? am I just freaking myself out?

Not all women who get the Mirena stop getting their period. Only 20% of women do, the lucky ones, and that's normal. The other 80% will either have lightened, shorter periods or will see no change at all. There's also no set time frame as to when your cycle will change, if it does.
Mirena is 99.9% effective, only 1 in 1000 get pregnant while on it. If you fear being pregnant, have a test and find out. Otherwise, consider yourself a lucky part of that 20% and accept the absence of your period and stop freaking out LOL.
there is always a chance you are pregnate, no matter what, but if your periods were suppose to stop that's why they stopped
