Bra size - desperately trying to find mine?!
Question: I just watched Oprah's Bra Revolution video and I start to think I'm wearing smaller bras than my actual size.
Is there anyone can help me to find my bra size if I send you a picture? There aren't those stores in my country where they measure your chest. My own measurements &online charts always give wrong results since I have genetically bigger ribs than normal people. :(

Maybe you can just by a few different sizes of bras online. Also you can just go to stores until you find the right fit. Good Luck

JUST WEAR WHAT YOU FIND COMFY. A GOOD FITTING BRA SHOULDN'T LEAVE MARKS WHEN YOU TAKE IT OFF AFTER WARING IT FOR A FEW HOURS AND WHEN YOU ARE WEARING IT ANT YOU RAISE YOUR ARMS IT SHOULDN'T RIDE UP AT ALL. AS FOR THE CUP FITTING, IT SHOULDN'T MAKE YOU BULGE OUT GIVING THE APPEARANCE OF 4 BREASTS AND WHEN YOU SLOUCH IT SHOULDN'T GAPE TO SHOW YOUR NIPPLES. GO OUT TOMORROW, FILL YOUR ARMS WITH A LOAD OF DIFFERENT SIZED BRAS AND SEE WHAT FEELS RIGHT! I'M OFFICIALLY A SIZE 32C BUT FIND THAT SIZE FROM DIFFERENT STORES DON'T FIT. IT'S HARD TO BUY A BRA ON-LINE AS YOU CAN'T TRY IT ON FIRST!

This link will help you. On this page, about half way down, there is an orange button on the right hand side. Click on it, and a small window will appear. It gives you step by step directions on where to measure and how to calculate your perfect size. Enlist the help of a friend for measuring. It's much easier to have someone else make sure the tape measure is straight and even. Use a seamstress tape.
Most stores don't advertise that they will help find and fit bras. Try going to a store that specializes in undergarments. Chances are, they will be able to help.
If you have a larger than normal rib cage, that shouldn't affect your bra size. You measure the cup size (A,B,C,D and so on) and around size (34,36,38 and so on) differently.
Another good way to find bra's that fit, is by trying them on. Especially since sizing can vary from brand to brand. When I go shopping for bras, I make sure that I have a comfortable, fairly snug thin undershirt with me (tank top). I remove my bra, and put on the tank top, and try the bra on over the tank top. I do this because trying on a bra with out anything on is frowned upon. Its kinda like trying on shoes with out socks. You don't know how clean the person who tried it on before you is.

PS. sending pictures of your breast won't help in finding your size. It's just a picture....there would be no way to get proper measurements.
