Does anyone have this PMS problem?!

Question: OK, to start I stopped taking my birth control 2 years ago after 5 years of being put on it. Now lately I have been having some problems. 2 weeks before my period I have extremely bad breast tenderness, acne, and I cannot get enought to eat, I am also very emotional and cry, even have fits of rage, I am also even having some small discharge from my nipples but very little. My period cycles are some what long. Im not looking for a diagnosis, but I am looking to see if any other women are having this trouble, and what they did for it if anything? Also I am not interested in starting birth control again.

It is amazing that some Gyns don't even consider
PMS a problem! (Although it has been considered as an excuse even for murder). I have been asking them for years and all I also got from other women is to just wait for it to go away when you suspect/see the signs. For example I heard of this husband who keeps out of the way of his wife when she starts eating potato chips and chocolate, as this is a sign PMS is coming on.
I say it is to be expected,( even though it seems not all women notice it), with all the hormonal changes happening to our body.
I have found meditation helps.
For cramps and other physical symptoms, Clary Sage 1-2 drops essential oil mixed with spoon of honey and/or with carrier oil for massaging belly.
Sex also helps discharge emotions coming up.
According to Indian women, it is a period when we see most clearly and women used to go have their periods in an abode together and meditated.
It helps to discharge properly emotions and not go on tranquilizers or whatever. Better to learn to handle our stress/emotions. How stupid they do not teach us this after all these years of schooling!
So just smile and say this shall pass too. That's what I know, I hope it helps.

I get it all the time, i have a paracetamol and lie down - thats it, i try to keep out peoples way and distract myself like watching tele (friends/scrubs generally) i dont think you can do much just wait till it goes.. basically

Your pms sounds really bad. Maybe you have PMDD? You can look it up online. It's Pre Menstrual Disorder
Dysfunction, I think.

no , i dont
but i hope it all gets better
and my breats always get super tender when im on my period

I have all of the above symptoms. Although my mood swings are pretty severe.... it almost seems pms is taking over my life. The discharge from nipples I also found to be odd, but it hasnt really stopped since Ive had my daughter (3 years ago) and my breasts get very sore as well. My period cycle only lasts about 5 days though.
I just got home from the store where I bought some midol. It claims to ease the pms symptoms.. havent used it yet but might be worth trying :)

It sounds like you have premenstrual dysphoric disorder, which is sort of like really bad PMS. Only about 5% of women have it.

PMDD causes severe physical and emotional discomfort before your period, including things like depression, anger, anxiety, fatigue, food cravings, sleep problems, breast tenderness, and bloating.

You should see a doctor. Unfortunately, the treatment is usually a birth control pill like Yaz combined with Sarafem, Paxil, or Zoloft.
