My nipples have been sensitive for a week or so, and i am on the pill. What coul!

Question: I am on the pill, so I'm not too worried about pregnancy. My boyfriend isn't too rough in that area. The sensitivity is in both nipples. My nipples are red and usually erect. I have talked to a doctor about this and they said it was due to the hormones in my pills. I have read that an increase of caffine can affect nipple sensitivity, could this be a cause? This has never happened to me before, and I am a little concerned.

Its your hormones. Even though you've been on the pill for 2 years your body chemistry changes. After a couple years, your body chemistry will change again and maybe they won't be sensitive then.

It could simply be the hormones in your contraceptive pill. It could be one of the very early signs of pregnancy. The pill is not nearly as effective as everyone seems to believe. Half the accidental pregnancies I've heard of, the girls were on the pill.

I'd be keeping a close eye on it, and if your period isn't on time, do a pregnancy test.

how long have you been on the pill, and do you take it as directed, regularly everyday?
