Anyone have problems with shorter cycles?!

Question: I keep reading posts about people and their delayed periods. I have the opposite problem lately. My cycles shorter instead my normal 25-29 days. Before you could time me with a stop watch. Now its all weird For example. My period in January was normal 5 days. In February (the 9th) just 3 days and mostly brown discharge but enough to be a period. Then I started my period just 3 days ago and its just so weird. Anybody esle experience this?

You've just described my 2008, so far! Thought the brown stuff last week was a (week-early) period, then got the real one today. This has happened to me several times in the last year or so. I'm about to turn 42, so that may have something to do with it. But I'm also under a lot of stress, and have started a lot of new med's since last year, as well. Maybe you, too?

Well sometimes this can be natural but other times it can be a problem that it's something a bit more serious, firstly you have to consider how old you are and if you are sexual active. if you are having sex then you should be taking regular smear tests, and the age to begin one is 25 in England. a smear tests checks for abnormal cells in your cervix that if left untreated can lead to cancer, and if you are sexual active it's vital for every woman to have these at least one every three years. The reason I am talking about a smear test is that is the first sign of abnormal cells,is bleeding in between cycles and if you get very painful pains in the pelvic area that is another sign, one other sign is a really foul smell from down below, now don't panic it may not be cancer, but you have to go to a doctor and you may be underage to have a smear but explain your symptoms and if you are sexual active you should be able to get one done. it can also be hereditary, your mum could of had it. I just had a smear and they have found severe changes in my cervical cells, i have to go next week to the hospital to have a biopsy taken from my cervix to see why my cells have changed and if it is cancer, if it is i won't worry as it is very treatable , so what ever your outcome you will be fine,i wish you all the best :)

WOW! Mine too!

Sorry I'm loving it!
