Can women fall pregnant and carry a foetus with anti verted uterus?!

Question: Uterine position has no effect on fertility. A tipped uterus will usually right itself during the 10th to 12th week of pregnancy.

If a uterus does not right itself, it may be labeled persistent. Persistent retroflexion of the pregnant uterus is incompatible with advanced pregnancy. If spontaneous or artificial reposistion does not occur, the patient either aborts or develops symptoms caused by incarceration of the uterus before the end of the fourth month. In exceptional instances, however, pregnancy may proceed, resulting in uterine sacculation. Spontaneous delivery is impossible, and rupture of the uterus may occur.

I have a retroverted/tipped/antiverted (all the same thing) uterus. I did a lot of research on this before I got pregnant. So, yes you can get pregnant. I've had two babies with a tipped uterus.

It's said that it doesn't make any difference. However, I did take it into account when having sex. If you are trying to get pregnant, you may want to try it with your husband behind you. Typical missionary style is great for women with a normal uterus, but to get the semen in there easier and better, do it with your husband behind you and then lay down after you're finished. Hey, it may sound crazy. But it worked for me. Just think about it. If you're uterus is turned the other way, then it will work better if YOU and your husband change positions.

Hope this helps!
