Why do i have brown discharge ?!
Question: Its started yesturday. i had borwn discharge in my underwear. I dont have regular periods at all, in fact im lucky if i get three a year. however the doctor said i am still fertile. About 2 weeks about i had the same happen for a few days then it cleared up. I am sexually active and at the moment do not use contriception. Can any one help me?!

It sounds like the discharge you can get either in between periods or before. I know you've never had a irregular one, but that can change at any time. If you're really worried, see your doc. It doesn't sound like an STD.
It is old blood. Just like all discharge..it is a way the vagina trys to clean itself. It is normal so don't worry....it happens to all of us.
Brown discharge is old blood. I have regular periods, but every time I begin my period I get brown before the actual blood comes.
