Can you have an infected milk duct if you have never had kids?!
Question: I have been having breast pain since last Thursday. I have a drs appt for this Friday. I do have a knot but its very tender and hurts all on the side of my breast and I have a real sensitive place close to my nipple. Like when my shirt rubs it, it feels prickly. Have you ever had this or know anyone that has? I am just wanting some info before Friday and I can't find anything on the web that talks about milk ducts that doesn't involve breast feeding (which I have never done). Thanks.

yes!!! i had one when i was 12(i know young, right), VERYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY painful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
just go to the doctor and they will perscribe u antibiotics and itll be gone in a bout 3 or 4 days

Is there a possibility of you being pregnant? because that could be the reason why they are sore. Pregnancy causes breast tenderness, along with other symptoms. If not then it might be hormones, maybe you are going to get your period soon. Also if you are on birth control that does it too, they tend to mess with your body and with your hormones.
