just experimet different pads to see whats the right kind for you..thats what i did..there ones with wings, and theres all different sizes for what fits you best, you could also use tampons and im 14 and i just got my first tampon in a couple of days ago..and its not that bad, it just feels wierd but ud get used t it ;)
Get smaller pads. They have them in different sizes.
What do you mean the pad wont fit? I heard something about tampons not being good for young girls on the news.

i wouldnt wear a tampon yet, ur prob not ready and they can b scarry! i would try some smaller pads. good luck. peroids can suck a lot sometimes but dont worry, u will get through it!~~~~~
just buy smaller pads or go with small tampons. theres nothing really scary about tampons, but they might fell weird the first few times, but you'll get used to it. but if you really dont wants tampons, go with smaller pads like i already said. good luck to you!!!!!!

It just takes time to get used to it. I know I was freaked out when I first got it. I prefer tampons over pads b/c when it's the heaviest time of my flow, I hate wearing the thick pads b/c they feel like diapers. But if you prefer pads, get the ones with wings so they stay in place.

pantyliners .[ very in size ] if its okay in amount if its alot use a small pad size
don't try tampons. they got... up "there!" and i'm not a virgin and i STILL don't use those things.

I got mine when i was around your no worries a lot of people get theirs at age 11. Use always maxi pads aways maxi pad is a brand I used when i frist got mine. And it fit. Hnt: Don't wear a tampon untill your second year of your period.
Dont panic. What do you mean pads wont fit?There are many different types of pads in the market: slim with or without wings, maxi pads (thicker variety), night pads, ultra or super and long pads.
Just choose your undewear with care, and by trial and error you will find the right pad for you.
Ultra slim pads with wings in regular size might be more comfortable for you, as the wings stop the pad from moving compared to pads without wings.
Talk to your mum about it...
They have smaller thinner pads or smaller, thicker pads [since you just started]
&& I used tamponds, && theres nothing wrong with me. If you want to go swimming or something you have to. BELIEVE ME once you start using tamponds you will HATE to use pads, they are gross && uncomfortable.
&& you should have your mom do it for you, while you are still young, it wont be as awkward, thats how my mom did it.

You get Sanitary towels in all shapes and sizes. Have a look in the shops to see what ones you'd prefer.
Alternatively try some of the main brands websites, lots of them offer free samples which would let you try them out before buying a whole pack.

The most important thing to remember is, no matter how paranoid you are about people seeing them through your clothes, they wont!!!
There are teen pads. The Allways brand has a curve in them that helps when you have a smaller inner pelvic area. and has little wings to protect you underwear.
