Can you miscarriage from taking birth control pills?!

Question: I think this might have happened to me, I take birth controll pills everyday, last week, I forgot to take pills for 3 days, and then started up again, today, I am cramping really bad and have a thick blood coming out, was this a miscarriage or something I created from missing 3 days of birth control?

It's most likely to be a really heavy period since your hormone levels got messed up mid-cycle.

I don't know whether the pill can cause a miscarriage. I'd guess not, but I have no idea. That's one for you to google, or ask a doctor or pharmacist.

You are probably having a period. as your body thought you were having your break when you missed three. Its happened to me before.

Not a miscarriage, but it is because you missed those pills.

Hopefully you read the pamphlet that came with your pill pack to know what to do when missing three pills and also use condoms if you are having sex, for at least a week afterwards.
