If anything, just wear a tampon with a pantyliner and take some pain killers. And yes running, jogging and walking will help ease some cramping if that is the problem. You shouldn't let your period get in the way of anything that you choose.

RUN. It will help with cramps. Think about professional female athletes - they don't "bring a note" when it's that time of the month for them. Menstruation is a completely normal function that shouldn't prevent you from doing anything you'd ordinarily do. The only exceptions are if you bleed very heavily or have severe cramping or migraines which can put a damper on your activities.

Well, i had to deal with that also but i ran because it was light i just put ina tamponm and ran it hurt but i had to stop in the middle of it and go in( i was running outside) i told the p.e teacher (a girl) becase it was showing thought my shorts so i staded after school that day and re ran it.
as i was running i found out it got heaver i dont now if it is normal or not but it did i am 14 i started my period when i was 12 so i had a few and i now what you are going throught.

If i was you i would take a note to be on the safe side
or use a tampon or a pad your chose good luck and i am sorry

Strenuous physical activity can increase your flow, could cause heavier cramping, and make it difficult for a tampon or pad to stay in place. If it were me I would avoid it if possible, but you know your body better.
Could you maybe use an Instead cup? Those work really well for physical activity. They sell them at walgreens and there are videos on the website www . softcup . com for how to use. They are WAY more comfortable than tampons/pads.

run very important for your grade anyways you should have a extra pad with you or tampon..

first take two advils in the morning before school. running/excerising is good while your on your period because it lessens your cramps and stuff. so i would say RUN!!
