Eating low-carb and still not losing weight?!

Question: I am on a low-carb eating plan to lose weight because I have PCOS. I've been on it about a week now, and I've gained 4 pounds. I am going to go into a walking routine when the weather breaks here in PA. Could not exercising be the reason I'm not losing weight? Any ideas what's going on?

if you read anything about the south beach diet
(low-carb) youd find out that after starting a diet like that, you will gain water weight for the first week or two... after that the weight comes off quickly... you may also feel constipated at first! good luck

Can you be a little more specific? Are you trying to do the Atkins diet? Maybe you are eating something that you shouldn't at a time when it's not appropiate. Exercising helps, but you should still be losing weight, not gaining it (unless its muscle weight, but that only works if you are exercising)

This site offers a free E-book on how to lose weight. It's been a great help for me, maybe it can help you as well?
