If you havent had a period in months how can you bleed old blood from so long ag!
Question: I havent had a period in over 6months yet i have discharges my Doc. says it is b/c my period is coming on but i havent seen it yet. I have read where some have said that discharge is just old blood...but do i have that much old blood to have discharges now in 08?? I am sexually active for over 4months now and no problems there wht can it be?? I did have unprotected sex w/ my bf a week ago during ovulation could it be implamation bleeding??

Lots of things can cause bleeding. It could be caused by ovulating or not ovulating, your hormone levels, or implantation, as you said. It doesn't have to be "old blood" (was it brown?); bleeding can be brown just because there isn't very much of it to drive the flow.
If you haven't had a period in six months, the chances are that you aren't pregnant and it's some other cause - but you should have a test just in case.

Because you are irregular I wouldn't think you are pregnant and if you are it is not a healthy environment as the uterus has 6 months of build up. See a gynocologist and ask about having a D&C (after a pregnancy test of course). A D&C is a procedure where the uterine lining is scraped out. The lining will be sent to a lab to be tested for cancers, tumors and diseases. Then ask about getting a form of birth control that can keep you regular and not pregnant until you are ready.
