I haven't had my period since going off of the birth control pill, LO/Ovral !

Question: Hi! I had to go off of my birth control pill, LO/Ovral, due to a start of a blood clot. Well right when I went off of it, I got my period, and it was a normal period. Now a month later I still haven't had my period and its been about 10 days if not more. Is this normal?? Please someone!! I asked my doctor but he was just the on call doctor and he said he though it was normal. But I just want to make sure, and see when I will get my period. Its driving me nuts! I did take a pregnancy test just to make sure, actually 3 of them, and they all came back negative.

It could be that your body is adjusting to being off of the pill. It might take a couple of cycles to get onto a regular schedule because your body has to readjust to doing it all with its own hormones. I know that when I went off of the pill, my first few cycles were a little rocky because I was having to readjust to the loss of consistent hormones, but I never went this far off course. I would check with your actual doctor, but in the mean time take a breather. If you've done 3 tests, then you're probably not pregnant. Stress can cause you not to have a period, either, so maybe relaxing will make it start.

it's normal cos your body needs to adjust that's all.
It will com back son.
And i have to ask when did you take the pregnancy test?
If you still doesn't get your period in the next 2 week then take a new test or call the Dr.
But I'm sure it's gonna bee fine so you don't need to worry;)

yes its normal.don't worry too much.sometimes it takes longer 4 your period to get normal after you stop the pills.*
