definetely could be hormonal...and it gets worse as you get older, believe me! but if this is such a sudden change for your feelinf like this, try n slow things down a bit, dont want to tell you to go the meds way, of getting something from doc for anxiety but if you feel its unbearable and wanting to scream alot you may end up having panic attacks, a doc can give you something low dose enough to help with those feelings.Or just relax, take time out of each day for yourself to think about nothing, meditate.....yoga, hope i helped...gd lck

You should talk to your Doctor about your anxiety.

First, you need to get in touch with your spiritual self. find one that may be able to help you prioritize things. some 2 years ago, I felt lost in the things that i have to do --- work, motherhood, wife --- then driving to work one day, it dawned on me that if i had died right then and there, my friends and clients lives will go on. My children's/husband's lives, however, will be changed. I see them as the only one that matters so that from that time on, I always made my family my priority, And at about the same time, I found a religious group I am comfortable with -- the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals.

Yes it could very easily be hormohnes. But there should be no immediate reaction to taking your pill. How long have you been on this pill? Sometimes it takes atleast 3 months to adjust, you may even need one that is not as strong. If it persist you should speak to your doc about it. Alittle prozac can go a long way at helping everything stay in perspective..lol....Also try hitting your health food store, tell them you are looking for something calming for anxiety, something also to help you fall asleep easier. They even have things that will help regulate your hormohnes. You may want to give it a try . Also you are only 20 the adult world is closing in on you. Not an uncommon reaction for college students after the novelty of college wears off. You are normal, but look into some things that can help.

I have Anxiety and I am taking Zoloft to help control the symtoms. Go talk to a Psychiatrist or a Counselor, to see if you need to be put on medication.

My daughter (11) also has Anxiety and Social Anxiety and sees a Psych & Counselor and taking a small dose of Zoloft to help her feel calmer.

Good Luck!
