Question: Why is it that I am gaining "hard" weight. As in that, I mean like a pregnancy belly. When I used to gain weight, it would be "soft" weight. It is really hard to get this type of weight that I am gaining now off. Any techniques. I am running out of patience.

well are you getting really hungry.

cardio! that usually helps with any kind of fat problem. eat less carbs too.

No offense do you drink beer or alcohol by chance? It also could be due to change of diet or some unwanted stress. Best bet set up a appointment with your doctor to have a physical done to make sure there are no other underlining health problems.

It could be a tumor. You should see a doctor if you think it is that abnormal.

if u have been eating lots of salty foods then that could be the reason 4 the midsection weight gain u r prolly bloated

do not eat anything with partially hydrogenated oil, and yes that means no fast food, then you're all set

I know how you feel because I have the same problem. I went to the doctor and found out that I have an underactive thyroid. I was gaining weight and I felt tired all the time.

You probably don't have an underactive thyroid but I would have the test taken anyway. It will not hurt and ask them to look at your TSH values. Something general practitioner overlook.

In terms of food, I find that I have gotten rid of the tired feeling by eating less. I put myself on a 1500 calorie a day diet and I feel like a new person. I eat any food I want that is within my daily caloric intake. I have lost 5 lbs in a week. I know that is too much but it works.
