Diet and pregnancy?!

Question: I know this is stupid...but if I went on a diet, not knowing I was pregnant...what would I happen? I am talking about the extreme diet including fasting and things like that. Would the baby die?

u r baby wont die but he or she will be under weight and may hv some severe conditions...u hv to eat healthy for well being of ur baby...just cut fatyy foods out..eat healthy and do walking
