Anyone else have this menstrual problem?!

Question: Last month I started a whole week early, then bled for 9 full days. This month I started a week late (took 2 tests, negative) but I will bleed a day, skip a day, bleed a day, skip a day. It's hasn't even been a full week and I've already stopped (Normally go 6-7 days). Anyone have a clue what might be wrong? I'm cramping tonight also even though I am not bleeding.

Stress?

Did you go off of birth control or on it recently?

Most likely it's stress.

As for my age, I'm 28 and it's really not normal for me. I'm currently still cramping and im getting a little bit nervous. Could I possibly be pregnant anyways? Report It

  • hormones could be the cause, see a doctor just to be safe

how old are you? First, it might be natural to have mixed cycles.
Second, there are many factors involved when it comes to a woman's cycle... such as stress, eating habits, weight gain/loss... I dunno, everything sounds normal...you may just be fluctuating at the moment....I'm no doc, so check with yours if its continues for more then a three month cycle.

If you're young and haven't had it long, it's normal to be irregular for several years. If you're a little older and had it a while, it could just be hormonal fluctuations. If you're older (like 40 or over), it could be the hormonal changes that happen several years before menopause. Mine will be 3 weeks apart one time, 4 weeks the next, 5 weeks the next. My gyno told me that was normal. Bottom line is, if things are happening that are not normal for you, then you might want to have it checked out. Maybe you have a hormonal imbalance. If you have a lot of pain that is not normal for you, you need to definitely check it out to see if it may be endometriosis.
