Dilemna!! Please help!!?!

Question: I went to the hospital on February 17 with really bad stomach stuff. They tested for pregnancy and it came up negative. So they did an exray on my bowels. I didn't get my period this week and I took a test this morning which was positive. Is that xray going to harm the baby? Or was I not far along enough to harm it? I think I concieved around the 5th or 6th of February, so I would have only been about 10 days or past conception when I had the x-ray.
what do you think?

Er - actually, I hate to tell you this, but it's a very strong possibility with an abdominal x-ray.

I think you need to consider options as well as prepare yourself for the possibility of a child who may have physical or mental problems. I'm not trying to be an *** - just to help you understand.

I don't know why people think that the later in pregnancy you have an x-ray the more relatively safe it is for your fetus. Think about it. A fetus does exponentially more growing and developing the closer you are to the conception date. The earlier an x-ray is done, the more likelihood it has of messing up something crucial.

i Don't think the x-ray harmed your baby cos it was so early. But if your still worry than talk to your Dr.

Good luck and congratulation whit the pregnancy ;)
