They can take months to dissolve. At three months post op with mine I had a few that were still there.

It can take some time, ask your doctor about it.

They should have been dissolved by now, ask your doctor

there call stitches, and my friend had surgery and it took her like a week and a half.
wow, staples... if your old enough to have a kid, you should know the difference between staples and stitches

Hm... call up your doctor and ask the nurse there. Just ask and see how long it takes for them to dissolve, its' been 2 months now, seems like a long time, I've honestly never heard of disolvable staples, butu I've never had a child either.

well i had a c-section, i had staples but they removed them like a wk after but my stitches they were dissolving. and i felt them for about 2 months after. are you sure its not stitches that you mean Hun? well then id think you would know that there isn't such a thing as dissolving staples.stitches are lol what dissolves and those steri strips are alot closer to a stitch than a staple and lol You will have Steri-Strips (thin paper strips) over the incision when you go home. (The strips will fall off in about 10 to 14 days. so lol what are you feeling?

i dont think there is such a thing as dissolving staples. and lol the steri strips are the little pieces of tape that have already fallen off i dont know what your feeling maybe your just feeling the scar. i do work in nursing and i have had 4 c sections
