Honestly, it will be cheaper to just pay for the birth control. If you can't afford the one you are on, ask the doctor to give you the generic brand, or a different one. There are tons of pills out there. Also, the doctor may have samples in his office you could have. But paying a high insurance premium every month just so they'll pay for your pills is not worth it, and you will probably still have to pay a copay anyway. Or, try www.needymeds.com. It is a website from the drug companies that offer free/reduced price meds for people that need it.

If you can not afford to pay for birth control you are not going to be able to afford insurance.. I would recommend finding a way to get to the clinic.. Just remember babies are even harder to afford. take the time for do this for your self.

Birth control is cheaper than:

diapers
pre natal care
ob/gyn visits
maternity clothes
etc etc

Find a better job, that offers insurance.

Condoms are always good too, even though its only 97-98% effective (pills and other contraceptives are only 99% effective, the only 100% effective method is abstinence.).
