Because you have what is called a Hymen and on some women it gets torn during their first time.

Because your hymen gets broke.
And the guy pops yo cherry.

First answer above is right. Don't forget, when it gets torn it's going to hurt!!! But some girls...they say it didn't hurt bad at all. Others say it was really bad pain.

it is possible. if you use tampons though for your monthly cycle, it might not bleed. you have what is called a hymen, that is inside of your vagina that is like flesh that blocks the entry, so to speak =P

if you have used tampons, the hymen has already been broken, and the first time you used one it probably hurt really bad ( i know it did for me).
if you haven't used a tampon yet, you probably will bleed because during intercourse, that plane will be broken and it will hurt, causing the bleeding.

its kind of ironic how losing your virginity is supposed to be this wonderful experience, but for the girl can hurt like hell.

my advice is to wait until you are older and mature enough to handle the situation; but if you still decide to, please use protection.

hope this helps.

bleeding is sign tat u r virgin..it occurs cuz at entrace of vagina a small skin known as hymen brust during sex

you may bleed the first time because your hymen tears, which you may have heard before in a more common term used, "cherry popping." however, most of the times bleeding doesn't occur because girls usually tear their hymen without realizing it doing sports such as horseback riding, biking, etc.

best of luck!

The hymen - IF IT HASN'T BEEN BROKEN ALREADY - breaks & that is what causes the bleeding. Your hymen could've been broken a long time ago though. It can be torn from riding a bike alot - or tampon use. Also, it may hurt. But just relax - the more relaxed you are - the better ;)

I usually refer these sorts of questions to scarleteen.com, the best sex ed site I know of, since every answer you get will give you 20 more questions in life.

You'll want to read it, and also teenwire.com, another good educational site by Planned Parenthood.

I hope this helps, and feel free to ask questions here. Some are jerks about it, but a lot of us want to help. After all, we went through the same thing and HATED not having anyone tell us what was going on.
