To the answerer above me: The clitoris is located above the vagina, champ, not below it.

That's called the fourchette, and it's a stretchy band of skin that lives between your vagina and anus. It's normally a little bit saggy or lumpy, and I can imagine it might be kind of O-shaped on some women! It's normal.

probably your clit hood

It could be that you just have a really small opening...But if this is someething that really concerns you talk to your dr about it.....In the meantime try wearin smaller tampons or try pads....The skin down there is really sensitive and you risk tearing yourself.

it could just be your hymen. every woman is shaped differently "down there" and it is nothing to be embarrassed or freak out about.

since you are experiencing pain i strongly suggest your talk to your doctor about it, just to be sure.

You probably have a small skin tag- a spot where the skin just didn't know when to stop growing. Since it's causing problems, a gynecologist would be more than willing to remove it. It isn't the most painful thing to have done, but it's not that pleasant at first either. Usually they numb the area and clip it, then cauterize so you can avoid stitches if it's small enough. Sometimes you get a stitch or so, dissolvable so you don't have to return for removal. The doctor can also elect to use liquid nitrogen to freeze it off like a wart, or use electrocautery to basically burn it off. It will make your seater tender for a few days, but it will permanently solve the problem. Just go see the gynecologist and get the opinion, then decide how you want to deal with it. They aren't really that unusual, nor a big problem to deal with.
