1) It's a good way to get blood flowing in the pelvic area and relieve pelvic congestion, therefore relieving cramps.
2) It feels good.
3) It's possible, but unlikely to get pregnant from unprotected sex during one's menstrual period.
Throw down an old towel and have at it. There's nothing unhealthy about having sex during "that time" (as long as you practice safe sex).
Some people like it. And you can get pregnant during your menstrual cycle.
Some women enjoy it because it relieves menstrual cramping. Some men don't mind having sex with a women while she is on her period, alot of couples do it. They just lay down a towel and have fun. Yes you can get pregnant while on your period.
I personally find it disgusting, however those that do say that its because the vagina is always wet and it feels good (the male)..but icky. As far as the prego thing, with sex comes the chance of getting pregnant. However ovulation usually occurs about 2wks BEFORE your period so the chances are not likely.
I personally find it pretty gross. sometimes i dont even want to be touched bc i even feel gross being on it. but a lot of people do it. And the chances of you getting pregnant on or off you period is the same.
