My cramps are awful, why?!
Question: I've already made an appoinment with a gyn, but I was just wondering what it could be!
When I get my period my cramps are so bad they shoot up my back, down my legs, made my knees throb, and it's incredibly painful on my lower stomach. I'm usually doubled over in pain.
This has happened the past few months. One time so bad I was light headed and throwing up.

I have had a lot of pain during ovulation and menstruation time. I get back pain, side pain, cramps...you name it. I have had a bunch of tests done and now the doctor thinks it is endometriosis. I am going for the laporascopy next week to see if that is the problem.
For many women, but not everyone, the pain of endometriosis can unfortunately be so severe and debilitating that it impacts on her life significant ways.
Pain may be felt:
before/during/after menstruation
during ovulation
in the bowel during menstruation
when passing urine
during or after sexual intercourse
in the lower back region
Other symptoms may include:
diarrhea or constipation (in particular in connection with menstruation)
abdominal bloating (again, in connection with menstruation)
heavy or irregular bleeding
fatigue
that's horrible and unfortunately with some women that's what happens when they get their period, seeing your gyno will definetly help he/she will probably put you on some form of birth control and it will probably help
every girl's cramping is different. unfortunately, yours is just really bad. im sorry :[
mine get so bad i put a heted up ice pack on it and i feel better
you sound just like me...look into endometriosis, i had alot of those same symptoms and thats what i was diagnosed with
