Question: My healthcare provider told me that it is best advised to have sex after taking the pill for 2 weeks. Last night was the 2 week mark for me, and today I had sex with my boyfriend and the condom broke.
So, exactly 14 pills later, we basically had unprotected sex.
Will the medicine be fully functional by now, or should I see about emergency contraception?
