Question: ok well i had my period for 2 weeks and it went away for a week and came back and i have had it for like 5 days now what is going on??? i dont want to hear " go to the doctors" what are the possiblitys to what is happening can u help me im 17 and i have been on birth control for 3 years and i have been taking it at the same time every day... i dont know whats going on???? i heard that u can have ur period and still be pregnant is that true???

As u get older ur cycles can start to change...and i think if you have a egg in the fallopian tubes that becomes fertilized it can cause pregnancy and period can occur but tubal pregnancies must be terminated. Baby can not develop there...
no because u dont have ur period when u r pregnant and i dont know if anything is wrong...ive never had birth control
you can have your period and still be pregnant. I believe it is fairly uncommon but it does happen. I've heard of women going months without realizing they were pregnant because they continued to have a regular period.
irregular bleeding and spotting is a side effect with most birth control methods.
