Problems down there?!

Question: I don't exactly know how to describe it so here it goes.

I haven't been intimate for a week. I was masturbating earlier when I felt a burning/cold yet hot sensation down there. I thought maybe it was a lack of lubricant, so I lubed up and continued, but it still hurt.

It's inflamed down there. It feels like the vaginal opening and around that general area is really swollen and raw. Like, the part that connects it and the labia is swollen.
I can move it (like in and out, sort of).

I'm pretty sure it's not an STD because this happened to me two years earlier, long before I was sexually active with a partner.

Could it just be from lack of lubrication that's gotten my area all mad at me? How long until the swelling goes down?

It doesn't hurt necessarily, it's just a bit uncomfy. I'm letting it air and I've already taken a shower.

Help/wisdom, please? Haha.

Thanks in advance.

Had you recently put any lotion or used a scented soap on your hands? Could any possible irritant have gotten down there?

At any rate, I'd call your doctor and ask if it's worth a visit.
I'd maybe try putting some neosporin on it and try either continuing to let it air out, perhaps wearing loose-fitting boxer type underwear.

Sounds uncomfortable. Sorry!
