in my track physical dr experience, the dr. asks a ton of questions about your health, like do you have pain....etc. Then he listens to your heart, your lungs, looks in ears, eyes, mouth, maybe nose. Then he will test your reflexes with his little mallot thing. He may twist your foot, bend knees a bunch of stuff like that to see if your bones are normal. He may have check your balance too. He'll look at your back and see that your spine is ok. He may have you pee in a cup and thats about it. The whole thing is painless.

I had to get one for softball. its a regular physical. when they did mine they check your heart, draw blood, and that kind of stuff, no looking at private areas or anything.

well they might look at ur !!!!!!!!!!!!! but for the 5 min they will not

They will do a blood test a blood pressure height weight MABYE brest size. They usually look in my underpants for about 5 seconds at the most heart rate ears and eyes.

no actually because track isnt a contact sport they'll probably check your eyes, take a urine sample, possibly take a blood sample and ask some questions as well as listen to your breathing. its "minimally invasive" as i like to say im a high school athlete as well. hope this helps

they check your body
see if it's healthy
it's like a normal check up
but they look at your breasts and down there
they will make you fill out a survey about your health
like your period your diet and other things
i always dreaded going
but you should still do it though

When you are going for a physical with your primary care doctor they just check your weight, height, if you a menstrating they probably will ask if you are sexual active but they will not check you vagina.. (you have to go to an Gynecologist for that)... also they will check eyes, ears, throat, reflexes that kind of stuff... don't stresss...

--but on a serious note if you are sexual active please tell your doctor. If you are it is important young woman and adults get an anual check up from a Gynceologist to make sure everything is good down there and that you have no sexual transmitted disease.

Good luck and Be SaFe!
If you have any other questions feel free to ask me

Why do I need to go to the gynecologist in addition to my regular doctor?

A: Most teenagers have a regular doctor they see who's actually a pediatrician, so at some stage they will graduate from their pediatrician to a primary care doctor or internal medicine. Their internal medicine doctor will look after things like their heart, lungs and blood pressure, but they typically don't do pelvic exams and pap smears.

They also don't usually prescribe birth control or test for STDs. So the gynecologist would help take care of a gynecological pelvic exam (which is an internal exam), a pap smear, STD testing, birth control issues and, down the road, pregnancy
