Question: ok ...... so on monday i started my period for the first time and i don't wanna wear a pad bcuz i wear tight jeans and it will show through and all week i have been trying to put a tampon in alla week i just don't understand what to do im kinda confused well see i just don't know exactly wear to put it HELP!!!!

ok, i'd say asking your mother for help.. but i can give you a couple pointers..
you have two main holes.. your butt hole, and your vagina hole.. lol. im pretty sure you can locate both, but it might be kind of hard to find your v hole.. this may sound gross but spreading apart the skin of your vagina will help for you first couple of times.. by placing your thumb and middle finger on the grips, put it inside a little bit, but not all the way.. then slowly push the plastic/cardboard in with your index finger.. you might feel a little discomfort at first but then you wont.. make sure that after it is in you pull BOTH of the plastic/cardboard pieces out too. don't leave them.. and then WA LA.. your done. wait about an hour, depending on how heavy your period is.. for you most likely an hour and a half maybe two.. don't exceed four.. and don't wear them at night.. There is a direction guide in the box, or if your comfortable enough, go to your mom. But when i first started my period, the last person i wanted to talk to about it was my parents. So go to a website called Beinggirl.com its great. ive been going to that site for months!
Read the instructions in the box. All you need to do is squat down and insert into the opening of your vagina. If you put it in and it hurts then it is inserted improperly, just take it out and try again. Hold the plastic part of the applicator with your middle finger and thumb and using your index finger push the tampon in.
