How can you tell when its just your period symtoms or TSS?!
Question: Well im 14 and want to start using tampons and i know the symptoms of TSS. high fever, dizzy, the runs, tiredness, bloddshot eyes, yadayada...well the only problem is-i usually get some of these symtoms anyway (such as the runs and feeling sick, which even gives me a fever sometimes, o and being tired) so how do you tell the difference between just your period just being your period and TSS?

I think you would feel significantly sicker w/ TSS. If you know how you feel every month but one month after using tampons you feel much worse, you would want to get checked out. But don't get paranoid about it-if you haven't had a history of TSS, haven't left the tampon in for really long & haven't used one too large for your flow, you should be fine. it's a really low chance that you would get TSS. TSS can also cause a rash on your hands & feet-you would also feel very sick like you had the flu w/ TSS.
