High amounts of hormones, particularly estrogen.

One word--HORMONES.

yeah hormones most likely but you can google "PMS" and you'll find pretty interesting facts...i did that and i understood a looooot of things..

Hormones get out of whack.

Hormones. They go a little crazy around that time.

hormones effect your mood. which sucks.
