all it is is IB profen..which is a muscle relaxor and since all menstrual cramps are, are painful muscle spasms..the answer is yes!!

yes. it's an antiprostaglandin-cramps are caused by an overabundance of prostaglandins....motrin is the best. tylenol, advil, aleve, none of them work as well.

Ok Motrin is great for cramps because it takes the pain away BUT it is also a blood thinner and it will make you bleed a lot. So be very careful when taking it and be sure to eat food when taking it cause depending on the doses (200, 300, 600 or 800mg) it can hurt your stomach. Good luck
