Is it safe to abruptly quit taking the pill?!

Question: Pills are getting expensive. Is it bad for your body to just quit taking them?

How else would you stop taking them? There's no way to "gradually" stop taking a pill.

It's not bad at all for your body. I would recommend stopping when you get your period - simply don't start a new pack. It will probably take a while for your body to get back on schedule, so don't be surprised if your periods are irregular for a few (or even several) months after you stop.

If you are having sex , no . Check with your doctor

Do you mean birth control pills? It's completely safe to just stop taking them when you feel like it.

If you are talking about the contraceptive pill then yes it is fine to just stop taking it.

But if you are still having sex then you must use other forms of contraception because you will no longer be protected.

It's safe. I stopped taking one pill that had horrible side effects and the next day. I felt excellent. You don't have to wait until you get to the sugar pills.
