well yeah i lost my mum to cancer in 2006 and i hate this time of year especially workin with children and having to do mothers day cards. A trip to the crem is not great i always want to go but when i get there i dont want to stay as i get all upset, all i wish is that i could have a hug off my mum =(.
Not me! We went out for Roast Pork, followed by a walk in the forest.
Yeah, i've not had anything yet. My partners at work today and i have to wait till he gets home. My little one is only 18 months.
Dont really think its a bad mothers day as such just feels like any other day. Went to shop this morning and bought myself flowers from my little girl, shes 18 months, and obviously too young to buy on her own am a single mum so if i dont buy myself a present from her wouldnt get anything. Be better when shes a bit older can take her and let her buy stuff but for now this will have to do me buy my own presents but at least get what i like i suppose. Whats made yours so bad?
Yes (I'm not a mother) But I couldn't afford to get my mum anything...I feel awful :( x

yeah my mums out today. i haven't seen her at all!
but i gave her her flowers yesterday.
just seems like another day to me...
I mean, I bought my mum a real nice nightgown, but apart from that, I just don't know what I can do to make her feel special...
My dad's turned up, which is a bonus for her, though he only ever turns up if he wants something....
Nope (: Me & my family went out for an expensive lunch & had a walk around some shops.
Its actually going okay.

I have been really weepy all day, don't know why, but I was given a bit of a jokey mothers day card which upset me and that just set me off really.
Yes my mum is dead and all this day does is remind me she is gone and what I am missing!!!
