How do you use use a tampon? HELP?!

Question: 1. Make sure you are actually menstruating. If you're not, then it may get stuck, soak up any fluid there, and be super painful to pull out without soaking in a bath for a while.
2. Make sure it goes into your vagina and not other holes, for the same reasons as 1.
3. Unwrap it. I find plastic applicators with rounded tips to be the easiest. Wash your hands.
4. Pull down your pants and underwear. Squat or lift one knee (put a foot on the tub).
5. Hold the tampon in your writing hand, with your thumb and middle finger on the middle (there are usually ridges on the tampon at this point) and the tip of your index finger on the end.
6. Point the rounded tip up and into your vagina, aiming from the entrance and pointing inside to your lower back.
7. Push in, using your thumb and middle finger. Once these fingers are all the way inside of you,
8. Keep holding the middle, and push in with your index finger, so that the stick pushes the absorbent part of the tampon out of the tube and into your vagina.
9. Once it has all been pushed though, pull out the two tubes that are now inside of each other. Throw in the garbage.
10. 4-6 hours later, remove by gently pulling on the string.

hope that helps

make sure you have the right size--if you're new to tampoonies, then you need a "slim" and use one of the brands designed for ease of fit---tapered applicator, etc. Plastic is easier than cardboard. Sometimes putting a leg up works, sometimes a squat works.
RELAX! Follow directions and change often! You dont want to get Toxic Shock!

ASK YOUR MOM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

just pop that sucker in.
no, just kidding.
sit on a toilet, squat, put one leg up somewhere, whatevers comfortable haha
put one finger on the end, and then pinch like the middle part (where the tampon part is)
slowly, at an upward angle, push it up the hole gently so that it doesnt hurt. it will feel uncomfortable -yes, but it shouldnt hurt. once the fingers that are pinching are touching yourself, using the finger on the end; push it in.
you will feel an awkward feeling for like a split second as the tampon is passing through, but once its in, you shouldnt be able to feel it.

gently out the tampon in and make sure it fit and it's comfortable and not feeling funny oh and do not go to bed at night while wearing them, they are so many germs on them so wear pads when you go to bed

okay so if you just have a tampad with no plastic tube around it to help push it in you use your finger to push it into you vagina and when you push it in you push it vertically to your butt and you push it untill only one or two inches of the cord are left.

If you have a tampon with a plastic tube you only put the tip in then push the end of the plastic and remeber to push it in vertically toward your butt, if you have it too much at an angle it will hurt and be unconfortable....it is easyier putting it in then explanning it..... also if i did not explain it well enough there is usually a paper in the tampon box that has directions
