Jake, you're asking alot! I can understand once or twice a week not being enough, but once or twice a day is more than most women want even when they have high sex drives. Does your wife work and take care of the home? Do you have kids? If she's a typical woman, we work two jobs every day. We hold down a job, and then we come home and start the second shift and work at home. Usually the distribution is pretty uneven. I mention all this because for most women, sex and desire begin and end in their brains. Men are visually aroused, women are mentally aroused. Does she reach orgasm when you do have sex? Do you spend time getting her turned on before getting down to business? Are you affectionate with her without it leading to sex? Do you ever just hug her and hold her without it having to lead to intercourse? Most guys don't seem to get that we need alot of affection, and not just physical. We'd love the physical affection without it having to lead to sex every time. Do you make her feel valued and cherished? Ever bring her flowers for no reason? Do you ever make her lunch for her to bring to work? There are so many ways you can make her feel cared about and loved, which in turn will lead to better (and more) sex. I wish you well in getting your needs met, because you care enough to be asking about it, which is a good sign. Realize that you may never have equal sex drives, but with care and love and good communication, you should be able to reach a compromise that will fulfill you both. The respect and love you have shown her by asking this question is touching and generous, and I'm sure you will find a good solution.
