If someone misses there period for 5 months and they are not pregnant what else !

Question: It could be PCOS
It sounds like it actually is.
I have Pcos and I sometimes do not have periods for 6 months.
It's frightening, but try not to worry too much, as stress obviously makes your hormones worse.
Please take my advice and go to your doctor, and explain this to him/her.
They will test you for this and can actually give you medication so that your period will be regular.
Its not a dangerous illness and you most likely are on the really low scale of having PCOS.

Good luck

It could be due to stress, eating habits, rigorous exercise or a hormonal imbalance. If you go five months without a period, a check up is a good idea just to rule out hormonal problems or other serious health problems.

you definitely need to check with the doctor. there could be something wrong with you that you don't know. one factor that you don't get your period is stress or you have an eating disoarder

HORMONAL IMBALANCE

maybe your too stressed, or you lost/gained a lot of weight

or if your old enough menopause

It could mean that your overworking your body...anorexics usually stop getting there periods so do atheletes.
