Is Midol a birth-control pill or a pain reliever pill like Tyenol?!

Question: Because my period is becoming shorter than it usually is, since my period always is a week long, but it seems as my period, for the first time, is becoming for four days. Also, my period doesn't come at Christmas, but it come in New Year's. My period started last year at September and it comes at the end of month. By the way, it didn't come that Christmas either or New Year's like this year, but it came in the beginning of February for ten days, and a week on the last week of February.

Mydol is a pain reliever which contains a muscle relaxer specifically to relieve mentral cramps. No, it is absolutley NOT birth control.

It sounds like you are young and just having your period for the first year or two. It is normal for teenagers to have irregular periods. Some longer, some skipped, some heavier others lighter. Typically, most women are on a 28 day cycle. Which means you are off your period for 21-25 days and then on it for 3-5 days. Obviously, on a cycle like this you will not always have it on Christmas. Your body's natural clock does not follow our man made monthly calendars. My periods have been as short as 3 days or as long as two weeks. The two week ones are not normal. If that happens to you a lot, you should talk to your doctor. Your cycle will also changes every few years.

Midol is in no way a birth control pill, it is a pain reliever.

Midol is just like ibuprofen (NSAID), it is NOT any form of birth control. Your period is a 28 day cycle, but can vary from woman to woman. I get mine every 21 days. The timing can also change because of stress.

Midol is a pain reliever specifically for women on their period..it helps with cramping and bloating and such. Your period just sounds like it's getting a little irregular - which is completely normal! Part of it may be diet/exercise or stress but a little irregularity is nothing to worry about.

its NOT a birth control pill...don't make that mistake...its to relieve bloating and cramps when your on your period...kinda like tylenol but it works better

Midol is a pain reliever. Your periods aren't supposed to fall on the same days every time. You're fine, don't worry.

Midol is a pain reliever like Tylenol.

Midol is used to decrease cramping and water weight and headaches. It does NOT have any effect on not getting pregnant.
