Treating boyfriend for BV?!

Question: I have been having problems for months with recurrent BV. I keep asking my gyno (the many i have seen) to put him on something but they keep saying if he doesnt have symptoms they arent putting him on it.....what kind of stupid crap is that? Nothing else is working... and ive heard of many other people doing that and them never having the problem again.

What med's do guys get put on for it? I know its anti-biotics but, like exactly what name and stuff so I can ask them next time? Or where ever i go..lol.

Thanks!

I too had this same problem for about a year with my husband. We were both treated with an anti-fungal medication called Flagyl. However, I was still getting it after that. Come to find out it was him ejaculating inside of me that was the problem. But for some reason, after our last treatment, it never came back. Anyway, try the Flagyl.

i dont know but heres a web site i just looked up.

Duh, tell him to go to the doctor and describe the symptoms he's having (even if he's not) and that you keep getting the infection. Why don't you use condoms genius!??
