I keep peeing on myself?!?!

Question: For the past few days, I've had what seems to be a really, really bad cold. Now, starting today, everytime I cough (which I do a lot) I pee just a little on myself, but it's enough to soak my underwear. I have school in the morning and I really don't want this happening! What's going on and what should I do?

Don't listen to anyone here being mean to you, it's okay. Just try wearing a pad, if you have one, and change them in between classes so nobody notices. Get well soon!

wear an adult diaper

How old are you...must be in your 80s. Try Depends...or a towel.

If your suddenly extremely sexually active that might have something to do with it. Or else you might have urinary retention, just see a doctor about this being as your not pregnant, but if you've had children that's a common cause of it. Anyway, kegals can really help you to have more control over your little accidents. Until then, use a maxi for heavy flow or buy some Poise pads until you get it took care of.

mmmmmm-pee through my pants or just stay home, mmm lets think about this ......

ITS NORMAL FOR THIS TO HAPPEN TO WOMEN WEAR A PAD FOR RIGHT NOW TILL U GET OVER THE COLD

This has happened to me before. It should go away, if not call your doctor. But in the meantime, wear a thick menstrual pad or an adult diaper and be sure to keep yourself clean with Baby Wipes or something - you don't want the germs around or even the smell.

Go to a docter and c what they say.

or you might have a full badder when you cough so if that the problem them just go to the bathroom more often

hope i helped

wear a pad for a period.

How old are you?
And wear one of those thin maxi pads in the mean time, at least until you find out.
When you get older your muscles down there aren't so great. But you mentioned school so it sounds like you are kind of young.
Did you talk to you mom about this?
Try doing some Kegel exercises to strengthen those pelvic floor muscles

try dippers.

Hi there,

I'm not certain how old you are but I can tell you why this is happening.

If you have a bad cold or even a cough, even a small trace of urine in your bladder can be expelled since you are tightening up all your muscles in your body as you cough.

Also, despite how "fit" people might consider themselves, they're looking at muscles like the pecs and gluts. However, your bladder muscles might be very under toned. Kegel exercises can be done discretely, even while you are sitting in school during a class.

Kegel exercises strengthen your pelvic floor muscles, which support your uterus, bladder and bowel. If you do Kegel exercises regularly and keep your pelvic floor muscles toned, you may reduce your risk of incontinence and similar problems as you get older. Kegel exercises can also help you control urinary incontinence.

But learning how to perform Kegel exercises properly may be tricky. How do you know whether you're working the correct muscles? Here's a guide to perfecting Kegel exercises.

t may take diligence to identify your pelvic floor muscles and learn how to contract and relax them. Here are some pointers:

Find the right muscles
To make sure you know how to contract your pelvic floor muscles, try to stop the flow of urine while you're going to the bathroom. If you succeed, you've got the basic move. Or try another technique: Insert a finger inside your vagina and try to squeeze the surrounding muscles. You should be able to feel your vagina tighten and your pelvic floor move upward. Then relax your muscles and feel your pelvic floor move down to the starting position. As your muscles become stronger
