How do you know when your hymen is broke?!
Question: I am 18, and very uneducated about this type of thing
Answers: I am 18, and very uneducated about this type of thing
Don't feel bad; I think there are a lot of myths and misinformation out there. Actually some hymens never break even if their owners are sexually active. They can stretch over time to the point where they're not really affected by intercourse; they're no longer a barrier.
Bottom line: getting a pelvic exam will give you the most reliable opinion. You should talk about your concerns to a gynocologist. Pick a female doctor or nurse practitioner if that makes you feel more confortable. Because not every woman is built exactly the same way, and so something another woman tells you may not be true for you.
It usually isn't broken unless you are sexually active. However, if you are bike riding, horseback riding, etc., there is a good chance it is broken.
If you engage in sexual activity you will know by abit of blood. It wont be much, but you will notice it.
it will bleed
usually when u have sex, dance, sports etc.
different for everyone, some don't feel much or bleed much and others do (a lot)
it doesnt usually break til you stop being a virgin.. then you will know cuz it hurts and bleeds
Usually, it only gets broken if you've had sex. If you haven't had sex it should still be there. Although, if you ride a bike, or ride horseback -among other things- frequently, it could have already. If it has, you might notice a slight bit of blood. And, believe it or not, some girls are born without one!
