Question: Spotting is when a little bit of blood comes out.
Sometimes variations in birth control pill levels will cause it.
Sometimes before you get your very first period will cause it.
Sometimes ovulating will cause it...
And sometimes when a fertilized egg implants into the lining of your uterus will cause it.
It all depends on what you have going on in your life!
If its before your very first period - you will probably be getting it soon or maybe it is your very first period and it was just really light.

spotting is when you are not on your period but blood is still coming out lightly and randomly, not consistently though.
It is still considered you period.. it is just a very light period.
