Nuva Ring and period....?!
Question: I was on the depo shot for a year and a couple months and decided to get off. I was off for a week and 2 days and my and my boyfriend had unprotected sex 5 of those days and a couple times in each day. So I decided to get back on bc to not get preg. The dr. gave me a blood test and it was neg. the same day we had unprotected sex. I put in my nuva ring for three weeks and took it out thurs. Its now been 4 days. When will I get my period or is it a possibilty I could be preg. If I don't get my period by Thurs. should I call the Dr. Help if you can!

You need to take an at home pregnancy test just to be sure you are not pregnant but I have heard (my friend is on the ring) that the ring will make your period irregular in the beginning and my friend said she only gets cramps now, but no bleeding so you might not be pregnant but be sure to take a test to be certian.
If your pregnancy test comes out negative, be sure to start your new ring on schedule even if you have not had your period.
I have a friend who stopped getting the depo shot, it actually took almost two months for her to get her period. So you're probably not pregnant, ur body is just still adjusting to not having the shot.
