How do you decrease your sexual desire?!

Question: I am 16 years old and I get desires to "feel good" but I hate doing that kind of things. Is there a possible way to decrease ones estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone so that I would no longer think about this stuff, that it would no longer appeal to me? Possibly a way to decrease hormones?

It probably has do with emotional factors, possibly upset or anger. Maybe resentment toward men, although I'm not an expert on this.

I do believe this article is interesting, though (please read, everyone):

And ignore the answers from these clueless people about "masturbation").

dont put any hormones in yourself. try: self control.

masturbation is always a good healthy way to release sexual tension, especially if you are not sexually active yet.
And no it's not a sin and there is nothing wrong with it, quite the opposite actually

Please don't mess with your hormones. Sex is supposed to appeal to us, at least once in a while. You're young and things do calm down naturally ... eventually.

In the meantime, you could channel your energies into excercising, writing or really anything (other than sex) that interests you.

Hey sweetheart , those kind of things are natural feelings all men and women get, to suppress them would be unnatural, although I don't mean you should be bonking over the freezers at Sainsburys. These are natural feeling and while going through your puberty they may seem a little out of control but in a couple years you will realize they have settled down and will enjoy those desires

You should not hate "doing those kinds of things". Any doctor or psychologist will tell you that masturbation is perfectly healthy. Do not feel guilty about your body or your sex drive. They are completely natural and beautiful parts of being a woman. Don't deny yourself the gifts that have been given to you! And do not subject yourself to unecessary hormones!

Everyone's libido is different. It's possible that you just desire more frequent stimulation than other people. It's also possible that you just need to lighten up and feel good when you want to feel good!

Best,
Manda

your 16! you will never completely grow out of it, but it will definately lessen as your grow older. dont worry! every girl your gae has he same thing, but no one is going to admit it.
