Should I be worried about my irregular bleeding?!
Question: I've been on Yaz for over a year now. This is the first month I have had irregular bleeding between periods. It's the 8th day now and the color has gone from a deep red to a brownish black now. I thought things were getting better but I've noticed that when I have sex the color deepens to a red again. Should I be worried? When is bleeding too much bleeding? I am having my annual this Friday. But I want answers sooner.

I wouldn't be worried. Discuss it with your doctor, they'll probably switch you to a different type of birth control. I began to have irregular heavy bleeding on the birth control I was taking. When I called a nurse she said that its not an emergency unless you're soaking a pad/tampon an hour. So I would say don't worry about it until you see the doctor. If anything is wrong they'll be able to tell. If you really want to know for sure sooner they have on call gyns at urgent care facilities like patient first. But they may not be as big of a help as a Doctor who better knows your history. You may have also just gotten your period early which could be attributed to a ton of things that aren't at all serious. For example my mom and I always got our period around the same time every month and when my mom started going through menopause my whole cycle got messed up.
