How does exercising affect your period?!


Question: i excercise more days than not i guess, and i started my period way after all my friends did. this may be a dumb question but does normal excercising affect your period timing and how?

exercising is actually a good thing for your period. you will have lighter flow, for the most part, and less cramping. Doctors actually advise a healthy amount of exercise, it reduces the pain and swelling. Also, on average people have a period that lasts around 5 days. Exercising can reduce that to 3-4 days (not guaranteed, of course, but it's usually the case)

it may make you get more cramps and bleed heavier

i think it makes the period come less. i'm not positive, but from my own experience, when i had to take gym in hs and had to participate i noticed that my period didn't flow as heavily.

I find it the exact opposite than answer number 1.
Exercising makes my cramps lessen, the more I move around the better I feel.
