I had a period in late December early January?!
Question: and then around February 14-17 had light spotting. Should I count that as a period? Lately even though I drink loads of water my urine is very dark. I tested last week and It was negative. I have only one tube due to an ectopic January 2007. I get heartburn which is very unusual. I am going to the doctor next week, I need some advice to what may be going on with my body. Thanks.

Spotting would be considered your period as long as you don't have a + preg test. Sometimes your period varies even in the most regular of women. Since you have a history of an ectopic pregnancy, you should call your Dr. immediately if you get a + preg test as you are at increased risk for getting another one.
