You need to go to a doctor for medication to stop the heavy bleeding. The doctor may put you on something like Primolet - this stops your periods for as long as you take it. When you go off it the bleeding and serious pain should have reduced.

If you are using 17 pads a day you are in danger of collapsing - you cannot loose this amount of blood without doing harm to yourself - your body will have problems replacing that amount of blood - you will end up with low iron and a host of other problems.

This happened to me when I was 20 - I went to a doctor; no internal needed - it is HORMONAL.

It is actually rather common - the longer you delay the more pain and discomfort you will go through.

It is something doctors see REGULARLY.

Please see a doctor as soon as you can. Take your written record (that all women should keep) of when your periods started, how many days before the next one, when you spot, when you bleed particularly heavily.

All women are different1 Go to the doctor!

doctors!

Get yourself to the doctors. Breakthrough bleeding all the time and the clots sounds like it *could* be endometriosis.

You'll be most likely given an external abdominal scan - possibly an internal one too and then the doctor can take it from there with regards to treatment.

Definitly go to the doctor because using 17 pads a day and having all these problems can change im sure.
